We Did It.
It's happened. I have finally hit a long time goal and got my silly collection of sarcastic words seen by over a hundred thousand people from all over the world. No one ever told me that it wouldn't happen but I trudged on anyway in spite of zero resistance. Now here I am, at the first truly substantial peak of my little blogging adventure. What started out as an innocent little journal has morphed into whatever it is today. And, wow, I mean 100k hits right? That's really huge, which is good but, what now?
What should my new goal here be? Should I build my favorite imaginary friend out of Legos, or write the worlds best back of the toilet lid book? Should I start my own fight club, or maybe even an intense underground D&D group? The options are figuratively endless. I can pretty much write my own ticket now with 100k hits under my belt. If every hit was a dollar I'd be sitting pretty right now. Unfortunatly, they aren't worth a cent so I'll still be going in to work tonight.
So to all my readers, thank you for helping Laughing at Life 2 reach this milestone. It had been a wild ride but, I made it Ma! Top of the world! So pat your selves on the back L@L2 fans. As for me, I will be sitting by my mailbox in a folding chair waiting for the internet dollars to start rolling in. CA-CHING!
That's cool, any way you slice it.
ReplyDeleteI was excited. I only have Internet on my phone right now and I miss working on this little blog.
DeleteCongratulations! I'm a little behind you. You know a "little" as in 10% there! Keep going!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I will keep going. Hopefully you'll keep reading and laughing.
DeleteIt's a slow ride at first. I remember that it took me 15 months to hit 6,000 total. Six months later, I was getting 8,000 per month. It's amazing how much work goes into building a loyal audience.
ReplyDeleteWow, 8 grand a month... Impressive sir.
